Counseling Student Intern
There is no right way to do this work; this is your time to show up exactly as you are, and use our sessions in whatever way serves you and your goals best.
I work best with clients who are curious, ask questions, and are open to the process even when it’s uncomfortable. I believe in taking small moments to expand and grow, whether that is learning a new skill, trying something outside of your comfort zone, or approaching something familiar in a new way.
My personal experiences from the client perspective have inspired me to pursue my LCSW. I’ve come to deeply value being witness to the beauty of the human experience through the therapist-client relationship as a space for real and intentional growth.
I use an integrative approach in my sessions, utilizing different therapy modalities to fit individual needs. Therapy approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Affirmative Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy, to name a few.
I work with individuals navigating the following:
-Anxiety
-Depression
-Neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism, etc.)
-Grief
-Generational Trauma
-Codependency
-Self-Esteem and self-acceptance
-Relationships
I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and welcome clients across the spectrum of identity and experience.
I look forward to meeting you and beginning this work together!
