Ragini Lal (any)

Counseling Student Intern

I found that fostering a safe space for open dialogue and exploration of our needs and values mixed with realistic and practical strategies will set us up toward a fulfilling, whole life.

With my vast involvement and knowledge of the mental health field, I believe in tailoring various person-centered and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. My areas of expertise include trauma and complex trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, immigration and first-generation disparities, Asian and South Asian issues, relationship issues, identity work, women issues, neurodivergent disorders, LGBTQ+, and life transitions. I am passionate about empowering individuals to build resilience, enhance self-awareness, and achieve confidence to live authentically. I also emphasize the importance of holistic well-being, integrating mind-body approaches to support overall health. Alongside clinical experience, I have practiced in crisis, applied behavior analysis, policy reform, non-profit, and community service. I ensure to be actively involved in community outreach and mental health advocacy. I strive to reduce the stigma around mental health issues and promote access to equitable, quality care for all individuals. In my work, I provide resources and psychoeducation to ensure you are leading your own journey while enhancing a supportive environment.

I understand we all are searching for someone who can appreciate and see us. I believe in you leading your journey and trusting that you are capable of growth with support and resiliency. I am committed to helping folks develop practical strategies, find self-love, and cultivate personal growth through a collaborative and empathetic approach. We can start, pause, reflect, walk, or sit through your journey together. When you are ready, I would be honored to work with you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.
